Saturday`s theme - Cu bufnițele la înaintare

Hey!
Sper că ești bine și te bucuri de noul week-end.
Eu cu siguranță mă bucur, mai ales după ce săptămână am îndurat până acum.
Tema asta să știi că e cu cântec. ☺
Mie îmi plac bufnițele, dar în afară de două perechi de cercei și un medalion, nu am nimic cu minunatele păsări. Se mai nimeresc să fie pe cutia de șervețele, dar atât. Și cât de mare a fost fericirea că în sfârșit a venit tema cu pricina.
Primul lucru pe care l-am făcut a fost să dau o fugă la magazinul meu preferat de nail art și să îmi iau plăcuțe cu bufnițe. Nu că nu aș putea să le desenez singură, dar timpul meu de manichiurit e limitat de când e Juniorul pe lângă noi. ☺

NTC: 9. Tape manicure

Ohoooo...de când așteaptă manichiura asta lumina blogului :) Dar pentru că se întâmplă lucruri frumoase în viața mea...am uitat să mă trec în lista fetelor :)) Nicio grijă...tot vă arăt ce mani mi-am făcut.

NTC: 7. Inspired by someone close to you

Salut ție! Azi nu e o zi prea bună pentru mine și nu prea îmi iese nimic din ce îmi propun. Dar știi care-i norocul meu - și poate și al tău? Că mi-am facut manichiura pentru tema asta acum ceva timp altfel azi era ziua în care m-am înscris la colaborare și n-am participat.
Bun, să nu mă înțelegi greșit, îmi iubesc familia enooooorm de mult, dar mi-a fost atât de greu să aleg ceva legat de familia mea și să îmi fac manichiura inspirată de ei, încât am ales să vă arăt niște unghiuțe inspirate de cei doi căței ai mei, Marlley (da, cu doi L) și Bobby. Și pentru că sunt băieței, mi-am făcut baza albastră, le-am scris numele și am desenat jucăriile lor preferate: oasele! Îmi aduc aminte o grămadă de întâmplări haioase de dinainte de jucării. Ooo, mi-am cumpărat o pereche de botine și am uitat să le bag în casă chiar în prima seară...dar credeți că au mai prins botinele mele seara nr 2? Neaaaaah, s-a ocupat Bobby de ele....dimineață mă aștepta la ușă o botină și un rest de botină. Mulțumesc de cadou, Bobby, ce să mai zic! Iar de Marlley...nu mai zic nimic...îți las câteva filmulețe cu el.

Așadar, mai jos găsești unghiuțele mele inspirate de cineva de lângă mine iar dacă vrei să mai vezi câteva manichiuri personale, te invit să treci și pe la fete.

Hello, my dear! Today is one of the days I say Meh! and I can't seem to do anything right. At least I made my nails a week ago or else today would have been a no-manicure-for-the-blog day. 
Don't get me wrong, I love my family, but it would have been too hard to do something about them on my nails. So I chose my other two loves from my life, my two dogs, Marlley (yes, with two L's) and Bobby. Because they are boys I made the nail background light blue and painted their names and some bones, 'cause they love chewing on their toys so much...and before they had the toys, they ate my shoes, my clothes, everything! I remember I bought myself a new pair of short boots and I forgot to get them inside and in the morning I was left with a boot and the a part of the other boot. The very same day I went at the store and bought another pair. :D Thank you, Bobby, 'cause you chewed my boot! And Marlley... :)) I'll leave you some link to see some short movies with him...and not only.

NTC: 3. Negative space nails

Și am ajuns la cea de-a treia temă din noua noastră colaborare. Astăzi avem manichiură cu spațiu negativ...adică ni se vede unghia prin model. Este o tehincă pe care mi-am dorit să o încerc de mult timp și colaborarea noastră a picat la țanc :)
Tot ce trebuie să facem este să ne pictăm unghiile lăsând puțin spațiu liber. Și gata manichiura cu spațiu negativ.

So here we are on our third theme in the collaboration. Today we have negative space manicure...so we have our natural nail peeking through the nail polish. This is a technique that I was eager to try for a long time so our collaboration came at the right time :)
All we have to do is paint our nails leaving a space without polish. And our negative space manicure is done.

La mulți ani, românilor! Oriunde vă aflați!

Nu putea trece ziua României fără o colaborare, nu? Categoric că nu! :)
Așa că...vă prezint nu una, ci două manichiuri inspirate de tricolorul nostru!

Prima este un fel de water spoted...în genul manichiurii water marble. Iar a doua manichiură are culoarea clopurilor/pălăriilor tradiționale și în locul panglicii eu am așezat o inimioară tricoloră. :)

The Alphabet Nail Art Challenge: Letter Z - the end of the challenge

Hello!
It`s time for another manicure, the letter Z inspired one...and it`s time for the challenge to end...but every end means that a new start is about to be announced. :)
So stay tuned!
For today I chose a mix of two letter Z words: zipper and zebra and made some sort of mix and match.

To be honest, I did everything like a decal. I painted the design on a piece of plastic bag, let it dry and applied them on the damp nail polish. The only thing I don`t like at the manicure but I couldn`t do anything about it, is that I have no details on the key of the zipper. :( Not to be worried, I will try to be better at details....sometimes in the future.

Alphabet nail art challege - Letter X

Well, I'm almost 3 days late, but I'm kinda proud of what it came out. :)
All I could think of when I saw that we are at letter X was "X marks the spot" and because I imagined a pirate map...I draw a pirate map on my nails.
I used base coat, a nude/beige polish for the base color, brown acrylic paint for the shadows, black paint for the drawings and a pretty top coat.

Alphabet nail art challenge - Letter W

Hello!
This is one of the last manicures for this collaboration with the girls, so I decided to get back in bussines.
I chose 2 creamy nail polishes (Golden Rose Paris 202 - the purple and 204 - the blue) and made....WATERMARBLE!
Yeah, pretty obvious, since this week's leter is W, right? :)
Well, you all (or almost all of you) know how a watermarble manicure is done,no step-by-step tutorial here.
Just my W manicure. A purple and blue W manicure.

Louboutin Nails

Well...I wore this design 2 times in the last 2 months and for almost a week each time. It's not too much to say that I LOVE THEM!I waited almost a year to wear them because you need long nails to paint the underneath red - just like the red sexy soles of the famous Louboutin black stilletos. [sigh]
I might never have a real pair of Christian Louboutins...but at least I have my pretty nails that can get the inspired look. It would be pretty to have the nailpolish from the same designer....but it's just too much for me.
Enough with the dreaming, let me show you my nails. Because I am soooo proud of them...and myself, for wearing them.

Alphabet nail art challenge - letter F

Ok, another week, another letter.
But for today I have two manicures. One is a simple french manicure using colorful nail polishes and the second one is a french manicure inspired ... manicure, I guess.

As you can see, I tried to add some yellow dots with the yellow nail polish, but it was too sheer, the yellow line it's acrylic paint. I don't really know why I didn't use it for the dots too, but, well....

This second mani I like more :) I just like how the ombrè effect looks like and the stamped flower.

The Alphabet Nail Art Challenge - Letter E

Ooops! Apparently I'm starting to move my appearance day for the manicures on Mondays :) sorry, really sorry! This weekend I slept all day long! I was physically exhausted after a hard week at work! My sleeping schedule started from Friday around 8 pm 'til Saturday at 9 am and at noon on Saturday, and then again from Saturday around 10 pm 'til Sunday at 9 am...and ended with...from 9 pm to 6 am on Monday...'cause we have to go to work again, right? :)

I didn't even get to say Happy Children's Day for every child out there! I hope you all had an amazing day and had a smile on your face remembering how being a small kid was! :)

But let's get to the mani! I had a very hard time deciding on what to do, and eventually my mom gave me the winning idea: ECLIPSE!

So I started with base coat, then on my middle finger I applied a coat of white nail polish. Then I made a gradient use the sponge technique with yellow, orange and black. After it dried a little bit, I drew a dark moon/sun with black. On the rest of the fingers I painted two coats of black and on top I added gold sparkling nail polish and some hexagon gold glitters.

T.P.A.: 31. Make your own nail polish

Today is (still) Saturday and we have the last theme of this collaboration. Because we are nail polish addicts :) , we had to make our own nail polish. But because I'm crazy like that, I made three! yep!
I am soooo sooooo very happy with the colors, I might use them often :)
I must be honest and confess that I made the glitter when we started the collaboration (almost 31 weeks ago) and the colors are fresh! But, please, pleeeease, don't ask me what I have mixed because I don't know. I started with clear and added purple, blue and pink...than I saw it's similar to a nail polish I have, so I added some more blue and some white and some blue sheer. And some more purple...maybe too much purple and pink because I got a pale purple with blue shimmer.
For the second polish, I emptied some of the above in a bottle with a little white and added some green and some grey and some silver. And some more silver with small glitter. And I got a nice pale grey with a hint of green. It's very unusual.
And theeeeen I added 2 metal balls in each of the bottles so I can mix them better.
And the glitter was obtained the same way: many bottles of glitter mixed together in various amounts.  :)

So, after seeing my amazing colors, I instantly knew what I was going to do: a gradient!
from my point of view, this is the best gradient I ever made! LOVE IT!
Buuut I added the glitter and ruined made the design darker. But it still is lovely.
