Celebritate / Celebrity

Nu, nu sunt încă o celebritate(doar modestă)! Celebritate e carte pe care tocmai am terminat-o de citit. Sunt sigură că multe din voi știți despre ea, e scrisă de Jackie Collins. Am început să cumpăr cărțile de la ziarul Libertatea pentru femei și încet încet le citesc...depinde cât de atrasă sunt de titlu sau copertă...deși stiu că exista vorba "să nu judeci o carte dupa copertă", eu nu ma pot abține.( ca în reclama aia de la OREO :)) )
Oricum, coperta e tare senzuală și atractivă...

No, I`m not a celebrity yet( I`m just being modest)! CELEBRITY is a book I just finished reading. I`m sure that you heard about it, it`s written by Jackie Collins. I started buying the magazine Libertatea pentru femei and reading the books that they come as a gift...I`m reading the books mostly if I`m attracted  by its cover, even though there is a saying "do not judge a book by its cover", but I can`t help it!
Anyway, the cover is pretty sensual and attractive...

Acum m-am apucat de continuarea ei, Zeița Răzbunării
Now I`m reading the next novel in which the action continues, Goddess of Vengeance.

Ne mai citim nu peste atât de mult timp, ca de data trecută! :D

Vintage, `au ba? & rambling... / Vintage or not? & rambling...

Good evening! Or Hello! Depends on the time of day you read my post...it`s noon, right? :))
Well, to begin...I finished my flower necklace and it looks like this...

Eu una sunt tare mândră de el...mâine, adică marți, că azi nu am avut timp...o să mai termin un colier...de fapt, o să îl modific...nici nu știu de care să fiu mai încântată...`om trăi și `om vedea.

I`m very very proud of how he turned out...tomorrow, tuesday, I`ll finish redoing another necklace I`m not satisfied with. I really don`t know which one will make me prouder . We`ll see!

Ce-i drept, de când fac tot felul de proiecte de genul ăsta, mi-am cam ignorat manichiura și lacurile mele o să se usuce în sticluțe   :((   Dar nu peste mult timp, voi termina treaba cu mărgelitul și croșetatul și mă voi îndrepta din nou la colecția mea de peste o sută de oje :D  da, da,da...măcar vine Halloween și pot sa fac tot felul de ciudățenii pe unghii :) 

To be honest, since I`m dedicating my time for this kind of projects, I ignored my nails and I`m affraid my nail polishes will dry out. :(( But sooooon, I`ll be done with beading and knitting and I`ll go back to my 100+ colection of nail polishes :D  yep yep yep...at least Halloween is around the corner and I can draw strange things on my nails :)

M-a rugat cineva să îi fac un colier de inspirație vintage...și cum nu îmi place să refuz provocări, am acceptat. Așa a început goana mea dupa bijuterii vechi, materiale pe nuanțe pământii și dantele. Vă prezint, în premieră și în exclusivitate, părți din colier

Hello...Yellow...
Someone asked me to make a vintage inspired necklace and since I can`t say no to a challenge, I took it. And so my journey for old jewelery, yarns and laces begun. I`m now presenting you, for the first time, parts of the necklace.

Mă gândesc să mai bag și ceva culori pastelate, un roz, albastru...ceva deschis oricum. Să văd ce materiale mai găsesc și cum stau cu inspirația și pe sfârșitul săptămânii sper să revin cu produsul final.

I`m thinking about adding some pastels, pink or blue, anyway, something light. I hope that someday at the end of the week I`ll be done with it and present you the finished result.

Carte si Spot! / Book and Spot

Ciao ciao...
Nu am mai scris de mult...dar am venit cu noutăți. Am citit cartea "Aproape căsătoriți" de Jane Costello, o super carte...
Hello hello...
Long time without writing...but I have news! I've read the book "The Nearly-Weds" by Jane Costello, a very nice book...

O comedie romantică, dar cam previzibilă...oricum,  râdeam în hohote...de multe ori citeam cartea pe autobuz, în drum spre serviciu sau casă (drum care durează cam 20-25 minute) și de multe ori nu mă puteam abține să râd...și râdeaaaaam...bineînteles că lumea se uita la mine ca la felul 15...dar astea sunt detalii! V-o recomand cu caldură. Eu am cumpărat-o cu revista JOY, cred că am dat cel mult 15 lei pe revistă+carte.
A romantic comedy, but pretty predictible...anyway, I was laughing out loud...I read the book mostly on the bus, heading to work or back home( it`s a 20-25 minute trip) and there were times I literally laughed out loud...and laughing....and laughing...and of course people were staring at me...but who cares! I highly recomand it! I got it as a gift with Joy magazine, and I paid about 15 lei/ 3,5 euro.

Și încă ceva! Eu și iubitul meu avem un....CĂȚEL! Ce? Vă așteptați la altceva? Ha ha ha(mburger) Știți reclama, nu? Cu hamburger? :)) În fine...Pe cățel l-am numit Spot, că îmi place la nebunie numele ăsta...și i l-am ales înainte să-l văd...și chiar mă gândeam..."dacă nu e pătat?dacă trebuie să-i spun Spotless?o să creadă lumea că îmi bat joc de el" dar spre bucuria mea, are o lăbuță albă, restul sunt doar puțin pătate cu alb și pe burtică e tot alb...e cel mai frumos cățel din lume...că doar e al nostru! și e pe jumătate Saint Bernard! :D
And one more thing! Ma and my boyfriend have ... a dog! What? What were you thinking? We named the dog Spot, because I love the name...and I chose this name even before I saw the dog...and I was wondering..."What if the dog has no spots on him? Should I name him Spotless? People will thnk I`m mocking him!" but I was lucky and he has a white paw and belly. He`s the prettiest dog ever! And he`s ours! and he`s half Saint Bernard!

Back with news!
Aseară mi-am facut unghiile...am ales Avon Cooper Sheen și nu sunt dezamăgită...mai port culoarea o zi-două, apoi neeeext! Nu că nu e bună, ci pt că mă plictisesc repede de o culoare. Doar în cazuri speciale rămân de luni până vineri cu aceași manichiură. :)

Am începute acum 2 proiecte, dacă pot sa le spun așa...un fular cu roz și mov(and no, I`m not a pitzi) și un colier genul BIB NECKLACE. Ceva mare, out of the ordinary! Cu care te duci la muncă doar dacă ești model și îți trebuie la ședința foto...și îl porți doar când pozezi...începutul arată cam așa...fularul o să vi-l arăt când va fi gata... :D

V-am pupat!
Pe mâine sau poimâine! Mai bine pe data viitoare! ;)

Last night I did my nails...I chose Avon Cooper Sheen and I`m not disappointed...I`m wearing the color today and tomorrow, then neeeeext! It`s not that I don`t like it, but I`m getting bored pretty quickly. Only on special cases of boredom I`ll wear the same color all week long. :)
I`ve started 2 projects, if I can say so....a pink and purple winter scarf and a bib necklace. Something big, out of the ordinary! Something you can wear at work if you are a model and you need it in a photo shoot...this is a part of the necklace...I`ll show you the scarf when it`s done!
