Autumn and Winter Holidays Challenge: 1.Halloween Nails

Hello!
So the Alphabet Challenge is over, I wasn't a constant part of it lately, but with this one I will try my best! Oana was the one to come up with this collaboration and we all have to thank her for getting us together...again! Kisses, Oana!

So let me start by showing you my inspirational image...found with Google on IMGFAVE. :) In fact, I think it's not really an inspired mani, but a "copied" one.
Prima dată o să vă arăt poza din care m-am inspirat, găsită de Google pe IMGFAVE! :) Până la urmă, cred că nu m-am inspirat din poză, ci am "copiat-o" sau transpus-o pe unghii.

And now....my nails! I love love love them!
Și acum manichiura mea! O iubesc enooooorm!

My cuticles are not at their best, but they are...acceptable. I applied a white matte nail polish for the base and with acrylic paint (I think they are acrylic, but not sure) and a brush I did the gradient loading the brush with paint and swiping it across the nail; near the cuticle with the darkest color and towards the tips I mixed the paint with white and made it lighter. After it dried, I applied a matte top coat and let it dry...after it dried completely, I painted the carved pumpkins, letting the background peek through their eyes and mouths. Creepy, but pretty!
After it dried COMPLETELY I added a shiny top coat and done!

Cuticulele mele nu se află în perioada lor cea mai bună, dar sunt acceptabile. Am aplicat ca bază o ojă albă mată și cu vopsea acrilică (de fapt, cred că e un fel de tempera...nu știu) și cu o pensulă am făcut degradeul punând culoarea mai închisă lângă cuticule și mergând spre partea liberă am deschis culorile. După ce s-a uscat totul am aplicat o ojă matifiantă și după ce și ea s-a uscat complet am început să pictez dovlecii, lăsând să se vadă fundalul în degrade prin ochii și gurile lor! Ciudat, dar drăguț!
După ce s-a uscat din nou COMPLET am aplicat un top coat lucios și gata!

Alphabet nail art challenge - letter F

Ok, another week, another letter.
But for today I have two manicures. One is a simple french manicure using colorful nail polishes and the second one is a french manicure inspired ... manicure, I guess.

As you can see, I tried to add some yellow dots with the yellow nail polish, but it was too sheer, the yellow line it's acrylic paint. I don't really know why I didn't use it for the dots too, but, well....

This second mani I like more :) I just like how the ombrè effect looks like and the stamped flower.

The Alphabet Nail Art Challenge - Letter E

Ooops! Apparently I'm starting to move my appearance day for the manicures on Mondays :) sorry, really sorry! This weekend I slept all day long! I was physically exhausted after a hard week at work! My sleeping schedule started from Friday around 8 pm 'til Saturday at 9 am and at noon on Saturday, and then again from Saturday around 10 pm 'til Sunday at 9 am...and ended with...from 9 pm to 6 am on Monday...'cause we have to go to work again, right? :)

I didn't even get to say Happy Children's Day for every child out there! I hope you all had an amazing day and had a smile on your face remembering how being a small kid was! :)

But let's get to the mani! I had a very hard time deciding on what to do, and eventually my mom gave me the winning idea: ECLIPSE!

So I started with base coat, then on my middle finger I applied a coat of white nail polish. Then I made a gradient use the sponge technique with yellow, orange and black. After it dried a little bit, I drew a dark moon/sun with black. On the rest of the fingers I painted two coats of black and on top I added gold sparkling nail polish and some hexagon gold glitters.

T.P.A.: 31. Make your own nail polish

Today is (still) Saturday and we have the last theme of this collaboration. Because we are nail polish addicts :) , we had to make our own nail polish. But because I'm crazy like that, I made three! yep!
I am soooo sooooo very happy with the colors, I might use them often :)
I must be honest and confess that I made the glitter when we started the collaboration (almost 31 weeks ago) and the colors are fresh! But, please, pleeeease, don't ask me what I have mixed because I don't know. I started with clear and added purple, blue and pink...than I saw it's similar to a nail polish I have, so I added some more blue and some white and some blue sheer. And some more purple...maybe too much purple and pink because I got a pale purple with blue shimmer.
For the second polish, I emptied some of the above in a bottle with a little white and added some green and some grey and some silver. And some more silver with small glitter. And I got a nice pale grey with a hint of green. It's very unusual.
And theeeeen I added 2 metal balls in each of the bottles so I can mix them better.
And the glitter was obtained the same way: many bottles of glitter mixed together in various amounts.  :)

So, after seeing my amazing colors, I instantly knew what I was going to do: a gradient!
from my point of view, this is the best gradient I ever made! LOVE IT!
Buuut I added the glitter and ruined made the design darker. But it still is lovely.
