Monthly Mani Recap - March edition

Hi, back!

This type of article is a first for me and I would like to make it a habit, hope it lasts. This is supposed to be a monthly recap of my manicures, just like the old Week in Photos trend. Even though I have only a blog post, I showed you more nail art on my social media, on Facebook, to be precise.

So...let's start with the rewind:

March, 21st

Melkior and Fundația Renașterea sent me and some other bloggers their new nail polish kit (one bottle of light pink and one bottle of fuchsia nail polish, a bottle of base and top coat - all the polishes are 4,5 ml, a set of pink ribbon nail stickers and some leaflets). The reason they got together is a campaign to raise awareness about breast cancer. It doesn't have to be fatal. Cancer, discovered on early stages, can be cured. Most of it. The leaflets showed how to check the breasts at home, palpating with just three fingers. More than that, if I go to get checked up wearing the symbol manicure, I get a 15% discount at a mammography at the Medical Center of Excellence Renașterea.

Salutare, salutare!

Sper că ai avut un weekend prelungit frumos și plin de voie bună.

Eu am întârziat cu postarea, nu din cauza distracției, ci din cauză că mă ia o răceală. Sper din suflet să îi tai avântul, că nu vreau să îl îmbolnăvesc pe Jr. 😊

Fulgii ăștia de zăpadă au venit la fix. Ieri a fost prima ninsoare! Ce-i drept, nu a ținut, dar a nins! 😊
Sper să mai vină zăpadă adevărată, să fie de sărbători, să îl duc pe Jr. cu sania, să ne bulgărim și apoi să intrăm în casă unde să ne băgăm sub plapumă să ne încălzim! Of, of...

Îți las mai jos pozele cu manichiura mea, îți las și linkuri către manichiurile fetelor și îți mai spun că m-am hotărât să încep o serie de manichiuri de Crăciun, dar nu vor fi pe blog, ci pe pagina de Facebook a blogului. Dacă nu o știi, îți las aici link (Iulia Beldean Blog). Vor fi 3 manichiuri pe săptămână iar la sfârșit le voi face un colaj și le voi posta aici. Sper să îți placă ideea mea.

Și vine și Halloween-ul

Hello, yellow again.

Sper că ai avut o săptămână minunată. Eu una, nu știu unde a zburat a mea :(
Dar printre scutece, plimbări prin ploaie și erupții dentare, am reușit să pregătesc postarea de sâmbăta asta.
Anul acesta am hotărât să merg pe o manichiură mai cute și cu nuanțe deschise.
Și pentru că de Halloween se mănâncă DULCIURI, de ce să nu le și port pe unghii, mă gandeam eu.
Și așa am ajuns la manichiura pe care o vezi mai jos.

Halloween... Creepy Halloween! (RO and EN)

Deci, există o nouă colaborare cu fetele pentru Halloween! Cred că toată lumea auzit de această sărbătoare, unii o și sărbătoresc, dar alții o reneagă. Mie mi se pare cute, mai ales că nu e obligatoriu să te costumezi în vârcolac, drag sau mai știu eu ce creatură hidoasă. :)

Eu mi-am pregătit două manichiuri pentru această colaborare pentru că una e cute și una e scârboasă-ish! Hihihihiiii!

Ca să nu te speriu, o să îți pun pozele cu manichiura cute la început, după care o să vezi și modelul mai creepy, zombie style-ish!

I made two manicures for this collaboration because I felt the need to do a pretty one and a creepy/nasty one! So you`ll see the pretty, first and the nasty, second.

Nail Art Marathon: 8. Gradient

Salut!
Sper că ești bine și de ce nu, în concediu! Eu din păcate nu voi avea concediu anul acesta, de fapt, cred că la iarnă ceva ceva...but for now, I am on duty!

Manichiura acestei postări este un gradient (cred că l-aș putea traduce degrade sau ombre...) albastru, pe care aparatul meu foto n-a vrut să-l surprindă așa de frumos cum e el în realitate. :(

Așa că, am doar o poză, și nici asta tare reușită! Am ales să las manichiura simplă, pentru că nu m-a ajutat inspirația să fac un brain storming pentru un model drăguț.

Îți las poza, dar îți las bonus link-urile fetelor, care au manichiuri gradient minunate!

Louboutin Nails

Well...I wore this design 2 times in the last 2 months and for almost a week each time. It's not too much to say that I LOVE THEM!I waited almost a year to wear them because you need long nails to paint the underneath red - just like the red sexy soles of the famous Louboutin black stilletos. [sigh]
I might never have a real pair of Christian Louboutins...but at least I have my pretty nails that can get the inspired look. It would be pretty to have the nailpolish from the same designer....but it's just too much for me.
Enough with the dreaming, let me show you my nails. Because I am soooo proud of them...and myself, for wearing them.

Have you missed me? I sure did miss you. And I'm here with a new letter ergo a new nail design! I could't miss the opportunity to show you a manicure inspired by PiggieLuv and posted on Facebook here. I just loved it and recreated it. I loved it! I wore the manicure for a whole week.

T.P.A.: 26. Glam nails

Hi, everyone!
Apparently I am a very bad girl for not respecting dead-lines. This time it's the nail collaboration. The problem is that I have such dry skin on my hands, it literally hurts. I tried about 10 hand creams/body lotions/body butters/cuticle oil...I am getting better now, so I'm happy!
You can imagine that my idea of glam nails doesn't work on ugly hands, so I painted my nails with Golden Rose Holiday #54 and Essence Colour&Go Sparkle Sand Effect #165 - here's my number and added some rhinestones. And I will come back with a later edit after my hands will be better.

Se pare ca sunt cam rea, de vreme ce nu respect termenele limita. De data asta, la colaborarea cu manichiuri. Problema a fost ca mi s-a uscat atat de tare pielea pe maini, incat ma doare. Am incercat vreo 10 creme de maini/lotiuni de corp/unt de corp/ulei pentru cuticule...dar imi revin si sunt fericita!
Ideea mea de unghiute glam nu se prea pupa cu pielea uscata, asa ca mi-am dat unghiutele cu Golden ROse Holiday #54 si Essence Colour&Go Sparkle Sand Effect #165 - here's my number apoi am aplicat cateva pietricele. O sa revin cu un later edit la aceasta postare de indata ce isi revin manutele mele.

I admit, I tried to hide the dryness of my skin, but I have only Picasa at work. :(

What I did for you - because I feel bad for not doing a proper manicure, is to make a selection of my other nail designs that I think are in a way glamorous.

Yeah...another week, another manicure...one big fail :))
This is a new technique I haven't tried and one that I will try only if challenged. :)
It was ugly. 
But still, I'll show them to you. Just because I did them.

Da...o alta saptamana, o alta manichiura...un mare esec :))
Degradeul reciproc [ :) ] este o tehnica noua pentru mine si pe care o voi incerca doar daca voi fi provocata.
Nu mi-a prea iesit frumos.
Dar totusi, v-o arat. doar pentru ca am facut-o.

Mix'n'match

Another first for me! Not only the mix'n'match manicure is my first try, but it's the first time I've take photos at night. I wasn't happy with the results, but I think I'm getting better at photographing, despite my non-professional camera. :)
Truth be told, I was challenged to do this king of manicure. So, this is the result.

O alta premiera pentru mine! Nu doar manichiura asortata, dar si sedinta foto de seara. Nu am fost foarte multumita cu rezultatele pana acum, dar cred ca incerc sa ma descurc mai bine in ultima vreme, in ciuda camerei mele foto pentru amatori. :)
Ca sa va spun sincer, am fost provocata sa fac aceasta manichiura. Asa ca, uite rezultatul.

TPA: 17 - Inspired by hippie nails

Hello and welcome back to another TPA group challenge theme.

Getting ready for Christmas - 3 in 1

Hello, lovelies!
This post will have the next three manicures for Elsa's collaboration. If you want to see the work of the other girls, check it out here.

My manicures from today are Under the mistletoe, Red and Gold and Blue and Silver.

This nail design has a short story: under the mistletoe you hug and kiss the one you love and you are happy because he hugged and kissed you back. On the thumb nail I have the image of a sky full of stars and snowflakes, because mistletoe is a winter plant, if I may say so. :) 

Products used: Maybelline Colorama, Gabrini Summer Edition M118, Golden Rose Paris 151, Classics Glamour 178, Avon Nailwear Pro Sunshine, Gabrini 3D 02 and Paris Memories 201.

This is just a simple gradient manicure, using Avon Nailwear Pro Ruby Slippers, Golden Rose Care+Strong 143 and Paris Memories 201.

The base color for this manicure is Golden Rose Rich Color 20, over it it's Medusa crackle 03 and top coat Paris Memories 201.
